Point to Pont, Point to Multipoint on RF
& Wi-Fi LAN/WAN Solution
NEW MAKSAT MeshMAX
The MakSat MeshMAX is a wireless mesh router and access point combined into
a single unit. MeshMAX is used to build large scale wireless broadband
networks. Each MeshMAX communicates with other MeshMAX'es within range, the
internet/ intranet service is passed from one box to the next, over the air,
until it reaches the final destination. Maksat Mesh Max operation and
optimization minimize network planning, deployment and management costs. We
provide variety of IT solutions including wireless lan networking, wireless
wan networking, wireless networking, lan networking, voip networking, wlan
networking, point to point networking, wi-fi lan networking, LAN services,
wi-fi networking solutions, point to multi point networking etc.
MAKSAT WIMAX 3.3 GHZ
The Licensed Band family from MakSat is a cost effective PTP/PTMP solution
for licensed wireless deployment both for backhaul and "last mile".
The product is available in a variety of frequency bands and is equipped
with Ethernet interface. Its narrow bandwidth and availability at low UHF
frequencies, then the Licensed family is ideal as a complementary product
for existing MMDS and future 3G Networks.
MAKSAT 3G MAX
MAKSAT 3G Max is a Dual-Band Access Point which can be accessed in all
802.11 wireless networks. It contains two separate wireless connectivity
radio transceivers, which support all three popular wireless networking
specifications. One of the two transceivers uses 2.4GHz frequency band and
supports both wireless 802.11b and 802.11g, which offers up to 11Mbps and
108Mbps data rate respectively.
MAKSAT WIND MAX
MAKSAT WIND Max is an OFDM Dual-Band Access Point/ Bridge/ Subscriber
Module which can be accessed in all 802.11 wireless networks. It contains
two separate wireless connectivity radio transceivers, which support all
three popular wireless networking specifications. One of the two
transceivers uses 2.4GHz frequency band and supports both wireless 802.11b
and 802.11g, which offers up to 11Mbps and 108Mbps data rate respectively.
The other transceiver uses 5GHz frequency band and supports wireless
802.11a, also at 54Mbps.
MAKSAT MAKAIR
It is a Digital Point to Point full duplex Radio. It comes with interface
options of E1, E2, 4 x E1 and Ethernet. It can be made for any frequency
from 1 GHz to 13 GHz as per any type of frequency planning. It has a range
of up to 30 Kms. Radio features a new compact IDU and ODU with enhanced
features that include line interface, digital multiplexing, alarms and
diagnostics, engineer's channel and network management interfaces.
MAKSAT TRANSPORT
It is a 2.4 / 5.8 GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Digital Radio
provides wireless full duplex data communication between two line of sight
sites. The system can be an integral part of the existing communication
infrastructure or a stand-alone system which provides reliable and secure
wireless data link Infrastructure.
MAKSAT MMS E1
MMS System provides a very cost-effective solution to voice and data
transmission requirements in capacities from E1 to 2E1 G.703 interface and
10/100 BaseT Ethernet Interface. Operating from 2.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz,
including the free ISM Band of 2.4 GHz and 5.1 GHz to 6.2GHz, it offers
extreme flexibility in spectrum management. MMS features a new compact IDU
and ODU with enhanced features that include line interface, digital
multiplexing, and diagnostics.
» Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)
Also known as IP telephony, Voice over internet protocol (VoIP) helps users
to use their particular internet connection for making telephone calls.
here, other than reliance on analog lines, like traditional telephones, the
users of VoIP make use of digital technology that is based on high-speed
broadband connection like DSL or cable.
» Security
As VoIP relies on the present internet connection, the same can also be
vulnerable to many problems faced by computer where attackers may perform
activities like intercepting communications, eavesdropping as well as taking
control of the phones and thus making fraudulent calls from your account.
Some of the areas users need to get themselves safeguarded from include:
Phishing attacks by manipulating caller ID
Causing your service to crash
Other activities may also occur like file downloads, online gaming,
and streaming multimedia, affecting the overall service standards
Safeguards:
For saving oneself from the attackers, one needs to take following steps:
Use and maintain anti-virus software
Take advantage of security options like encryption services
Install/enable firewall
Evaluate security settings
» Wired Networking
Wired networks provide better security than a wireless network and can
transfer data faster. Ethernet and wireless networks each have advantages
and disadvantages; depending on your needs, one may serve you better than
the other. Wired networks provide users with plenty of security and the
ability to move lots of data very quickly. Wired networks are typically
faster than wireless networks, and they can be very affordable.
» Wireless Networking
With introduction of wireless communication, wireless IP phones help in
providing voice communication within corporate wireless local area network
(WLAN). Here, wireless LANs make use of radio waves to carry messages as
well as data packets that require access point devices receiving and
transmitting radio signals. The working is as under:
When wireless device powers on, it searches for and gets associated
with access point
As users move from one location to another, the wireless device roams
out of range comprising of one access point and into range of another
Access point uses wired network to transmit data as well as voice
packets to switches and routers
Voice signaling packets sent to servers for call processing and
routing
